History: She was raised in a upper-middle class family who expected her to get excellent grades, balance teenage puberty, and remain without a social life. She was quite close to her much older brother who is 31, but he never got along with their parents, and had moved across the country, leaving Alyssa on a hanging wire. While her parents were always working, her Father as a professor and Mother as a doctor, she never really connected with them. Her family was not very social at all, creating this awkward and social aura in Alyssa, no birthday parties, no neighborhood get-togethers, no family time, no family reunions, no friends allowed over, _{or friends for that matter}, and a bit of an emptiness. Although her house was very contemporary styled and elegant to the average standards, it was a quiet and dark household.
At school she was very quiet and people often commented her as the “Loner”, “Heartless”, or her personal favorite, “the Shadow”. She would keep a bored stare on her face because she figured out early that other’s opinions really do not matter, fortunately she had one friend when she was a Sophomore. But she does not seem to remember much about it after her murder except some words and vague memories.
In return, she vented her struggles and stress through cooking. Yes cooking. How does that make sense? Well her family was never home and they had a state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, and the only way she could eat was to cook for herself. She gradually found herself interested in the hobby and enjoyed the little time home she was given. (there was not much to do when she was home alone 365 days of the year) During the summer while she was home alone cooking with her parents at work and summer homework completed, as usual; but she heard a loud unknown thump, in which she turned off the stove and started toward the front door of her house. Afraid it may have been a burglar (with a neighborhood as fancy as her’s, her parents had warned her about the possibilities of a break-in) however, as she unlocked the front door and pulled the knob, that last thing she heard was multiple click-pop type sounds. The next thing she knew, she was on the ground surrounded in a pool of blood, unable to move, and a sharp pain in her right ear and on her back. Her last thoughts were, when her parents get home, they would be more angry at the ruined carpet than her death. She was grateful for her family for giving her anything she wanted, but she wished she could have had an actual family more than anything.
